Stylist, artist, author and "plantfluencer" Hilton Carter has once again teamed up with Target this spring to bring you a brand new collection that budding gardeners and seasoned plant parents alike will love. The 2024 Hilton Carter for Target collection includes everything from plants and pots to gardening tools and home decor. Alongside the collection, Hilton is also launching his fifth book with publisher CICO Books, The Propagation Handbook.

THE PLANTERS

There's no better person to design a planter pot than a fellow gardener. Too often, plant containers are made for looks and not for functionality, setting newbie houseplant collectors up for failure. The Hilton Carter for Target planters are rated for indoor or outdoor use and include drainage holes and built-in saucers or catches. Plus, the drainage holes include a plug in case you decide to leave a plant in its nursery pot — that way, you can water your plant in the nursery pot, allow it to drain, and simply return it to the decorative pot without worrying about it leaking or ruining any surfaces. Don't worry, they're functional, too — the apron and tote are made with heavy-duty waxed canvas; while the garden tools, made with stainless steel under that gorgeous layer of copper, are rust-resistant.

There is something extremely pleasant about the shape of this steel watering can. Its long spout makes it easy to water your plants directly at the roots without worrying about splashing or spills.

THE NEW BOOK

In The Propagation Handbook, Hilton will walk you through propagation methods for all sorts of plants, plus share the tools needed to get the job done and tips to keep them thriving.
