When you think of Christina Hall, you probably picture the California-cool designs that dominate Christina on the Coast or the cozy abodes featured on Christina in the Country. Case in point: The main source of inspiration for her new Newport Beach, California, home with husband, Josh Hall, was a Bali resort.

But there’s one space that breaks free from the serene, spa-like vibes: Josh’s man cave.

The downstairs room is built to look like an elevated version of an old-school garage, decked out with collector cars stacked on top of each other, retro ‘80s memorabilia and a garage door that opens up to the outside.

“This is my place,” Josh said during a tour of the home with HGTV.

The stunner of the space is undeniably the museum-worthy replica of the DeLorean time machine from the famous movie Back to the Future. (Yes, we're still ogling over it.) The DeLorean sits below a sleek orangish-red car that holds sentiment for Josh: “This actually was my dad’s that he promised me on my 40th birthday.”

The rest of the room is filled with both big and small knickknacks from Josh’s past, like a dirt bike he used to ride in his teens, a picture of his grandmother — his "favorite person on the planet" — and his old police locker and uniform. There’s even a seating area with a leather sofa and chairs, perfect for sitting back and admiring his awesome collection.

Don’t worry, Christina has her own special room too — a peaceful office built just for her with bright windows, live plants and her crystal collection.

“I love all of the natural light in here. I can pop my laptop down, take phone calls, or have design meetings,” says Christina. “It’s a very relaxing office. It’s probably truly the only room in the house that is actually for me.”
