The homeowners of this Sarasota, Florida, home were blown away by its reimagined high-contrast appearance. Originally outfitted with a dated two-tone taupe exterior, the home took on a whole new look and feel when the Kleinschmidts worked their magic. They went with a crisp black-and-white paint job paired with a stone accent and neutral wood grain entrance — all of which combined to create envy-inducing curb appeal.
This charming black-and-white Plant City, Florida, home is a vision board brought to life. The homeowners had been imagining their forever home for decades when the Kleinschmidts stepped in. White board and batten siding, natural beams, dark shingles and a black metal roof offer modern farmhouse appeal — or as Mika dubbed it, "sophisticated country."
Brian and Mika's dream of having a second home became a reality when this 1977 townhouse in the historic district of Savannah, Georgia, popped up on the market. "Savannah's always been a magical place for us," Brian said. Mika agreed: "I love the history, and it's so different from Tampa." While the exterior of the home didn't look historic, Mika and Brian spruced it up with signature Savannah charm in the form of a sage green front door and striking black paint on the window shutters and door frame.
