Starting with Quietude from HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams. This subtle, minty shade with hints of blue is just as calming is its name implies. On the walls and vanity in this bathroom, it gives total spa vibes.

Purple is having a moment — and it seems the color experts at Benjamin Moore agree. Cinnamon Slate, a muted plum with a hint of rich brown, is the brand's selection for the upcoming year. With its depth and quiet color, it functions as a cozy and unexpected neutral.

Rumor has it earthy reds will continue to trend in the coming year — according to the creatives at Behr. They selected Rumors, a muted burgundy, as the brand’s Color of the Year. Color drench a room in this luxe shade of red to create warmth and elegant ambiance, or try it outside for an updated take on the classic red front door.

This year marks the 15th annual color announcement from Sherwin-Williams, and to celebrate they selected not one but nine paint colors to share. One of our favorites from the capsule: Bosc Pear. This '70s-inspired, golden hue reflects the shift to warmer tones in the design space.
